Tour outline: 8 nights / 9 days

Day 1
We have a transfer booked for select flights arriving today in Tel Aviv. Our travel agent will help you with ensuring that you are booked correctly to meet our guide. After being taken from Tel Aviv Airport to our hotel please settle in and relax. We have a welcome dinner tonight.
Overnight: Tel Aviv ( (Hotel, welcome dinner)

Day 2
Our first full day starts with breakfast in the hotel before we travel from Tel Aviv to the Galilee. Along the way we stop at the archaeological ruins of Caesarea, lunch in Haifa and explore the secret Knights tunnels at the ancient port city of Acre. 
Ride option: 100km ride with 700m vert
Overnight: Galilee (Kibbutz, breakfast and dinner)

Day 3
Traditional Israeli breakfasts are something unique and you will not be disappointed! After a leisurely start we head off to explore Safed where we will walk through the mystic alleyways of city and hear stories of the Kabbalists & their ancient synagogues. Recommended lunch spots will have your appetite satisfied and to top it all off we end at a winery for a wine and cheese tasting.
Ride option: 130km with 1990m vert
Overnight: Galilee (Kibbutz, breakfast and dinner)

Day 4
After breakfast we journey towards Jerusalem, Today we explore the excavations of the beautiful Roman City of Beit Shean and continue on to Jerusalem via a stop at Mt Scopus for a magnificent view of the city and a brief explanation about the capitol’s past and future. Tonight we celebrate the Lag Ba’omer Bonfire Festival in the streets of Jerusalem.
Ride option: 87km with 450m vert
Overnight: Jerusalem (Hotel, breakfast and dinner)

Day 5
Breakfast is early today as we travel to the shores of the Dead Sea to the magnificent cliff top fortress of Masada. Ascend via cable car to explore the remains of King Herod’s luxurious palace and hear about the zealots who defied the Roman Empire from this location.  Take the chance to enjoy a float in the salty waters and experience the mud baths. 
Overnight: Jerusalem  (Hotel, breakfast and dinner)

Day 6
A leisurely morning walk of the Old City of Jerusalem including a visit to the Western Wall and the Cardo. We will walk the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa, finishing at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.  
Overnight: Jerusalem  (Hotel, breakfast and dinner)

**Optional - Experience a traditional Friday night dinner hosted by a local family.

Day 7
An early breakfast today followed by a short coach trip to Jaffa, the world’s oldest port city, for a view of the old city and its well known artist’s colony before making our way to Tel Aviv. 

Ride option: Exploring Jaffa with option to ride to Tel Aviv
Overnight: Tel Aviv (Hotel, breakfast and dinner)

Day 8
The last day of touring! We will visit Rabin Square, Palmach history museum and a walking tour of Sarona as well as head south to Be'er Sheva to watch the race start. 

Overnight: Tel Aviv (Hotel, breakfast and farewell dinner)

Day 9
After breakfast our tour ends and we say L'hitraot which means good bye for now. (breakfast)
